We will be moving to Florida this year. I have been wanting to move to Florida for years. I am so tired of Ohio weather, especially the depressing winters. We have family there and only get to see them every few years or longer. The move will mean that we can see each other as much as we want. Plus Ryker and Canyon will much prefer Florida weather also.

Not moving (yet) but visiting in a couple of weeks. What part of FL. are you moving to? It will be nice to be near family. My Dh wants to move there and I'm all for the warm weather (I hate being cold) but the view is not what I really pictured where I want to live. I've always wanted to live somewhere with rolling hills and a nice stream for the kids to play in. If he manages to ever change my mind it will be central Fl for me since that seems to be the least flat.

We are looking at homes in Lakeland and Winter Haven. My uncle and aunt live in Lakeland. We are hoping to either get a house over-looking a lake or one within walking distance. I was never able to get my son to Walt Disney World while he was young, we now plan to get annual passes. We will only be about 45 minutes away.

I have two families on my street with Poodles, it will be nice to have ones close when we move.

Yay, another Poodle family that will be close. I am just so excited. We are gathering our must have and wish lists and will be contacting a realtor soon. We need to do a little de-cluttering before we put this one on the market. Moving has it's stressful moments, but we are mostly very excited. My only big worry is that we will be flying. I have not flown since I was 5. It is a short flight and I will have my son and the dogs to distract me.

Florida is beautiful! I don't go there....my in-laws live in Miami area and we don't get along. My sister lived there for 3 years and loved it. There are so many beautiful areas and affordable homes!

We are up in the panhandle between Destin and Pensacola. Just brought home 8 week old Pierre from Gainesville. He is snuggled up by my leg right now. Such a sweet baby.
