Spindledreams is my name on a number of forums now. It all started with an angora and a drop spindle... Now I am raising Satin Angoras for show and fiber and I spin on spindles and also collect them as a hobby. Since I drool over spindles and dream of acquiring rare ones and of spinning beautiful fiber on them Spindledreams seemed like a fitting nod of the head to my passion.

I like to keep my various Internet personae separate, so I wanted to come up with a new name. I am currently a law student (6 more months!) and "eagle" has great connotations and rhymes with "legal." It's easy to remember, not too complicated, and rather euphonious, if I may say!

Well back when the internet was known/reffered to as the World Wide Web on tv I would visit chat rooms. Now on tv they were selling cds for older songs and the one line I kept remembering was Lady in Red.. so that was my handle.. then all these Byotches kept taking that and so I would go thru other colors.. till I went back and used Lady Scarlett (with two t's.. take that byotches!!).
Anywho, I eventually joined Neopets (dont judge me) and "owned" an earie that was half lion and half hawk that was .. you guessed it red! So it's name was Scarletthawk ! So Im going back to my roots as LADYSCARLETTHAWK!! I also liked Lady Jay and Scarlett from from GiJoe.. (dont judge me)

Oh yeah! I loved that part of Nemo and, like, I totally thought Crush was far out! LOL! I decided to google the word and I got a kick out of how Urban Dictionary defines it:

These have been fun to read. My user name is my poodle's name plus the AKC titles she had at the time I joined. I guess now I should be Lily cd rae, but that seems like a lot of bother. I will just add the dogs' titles in my signature line. I know, its boring.

*gasp!* Another Neopet addict? Can this be? Gosh, I was truly sick in those days. I had several accounts; my pride and joy was my zafara, JellyMcKenzie. Haven't visited in years; is the site even going any more?

When I had to come up with an Internet name, I wanted a made-up word so that it would always be available for and unique to me. I'm a quilter, and my totem animal is the opossum. Thus, "Quossum."

Plus, the letter Q is just really cool.
