Default My competition photos
Here are some photos a friend of mine took at my grooming competition. I'll be getting the professional photos at some point, not sure when. In the meantime, this will have to do! I'll be posting for critiques at some point.

That standard was HUGE! I'm 5'9", and when he was on the table you can barely see my face over him. And keep in mind he's only 10 mo. Wowza!! As you can tell his breeder is breeding for size, unfortunately. This guy's daddy is a good 28". He may make that yet!

So impressive to see you working your magic!! (And I must say, I am as crazy for your own beautiful hair as the dogs you groomed--just gorgeous!) Chagall's mom I agree!!! Those pictures made me feel proud of her!!! :-)

Wow really great to see this !! Thanks for sharing !!!!

I toon this picture of Lou yesterday (she is smiling and me too LOL)

I wish you could groom her, i like the teddy bear look, but its going too far hehe. I think I will have them have eyebrows so she can see, sanitary, under paws...and pluck ear hair wrc, I dont know much at out about grooming, I just admire the pictures!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone. Appreciate the positive feedback! I was soooo nervous....probably why I look so serious lol. I promise I do know how to smile!

Thanks Chagall's mom, I got my hair from my dad so I really can't take any credit. Sure I condition it and stuff, but I really don't have to! It's nice, I'm definitely blessed in that area.

Lou, I wish I could groom your baby for you, she's soo cute! Btw, don't ask for eyebrows, you will probably get a schnauzery look if you do. Unless thats what you want! Ask for a visor or bang trim, they will get that.

Oh man, I'm not sure when! I hate competitions, the stress KILLS me! I'm much happier to loan my dogs out to people!

Oh she got groomed today... jeez! she is a huge fluff ball...LOL and about the eyebrows I just asked them to shave a bit so she could see... she looks like Elmo now, but oh well..it will grow soon...(I had schnauzers before Lou btw ) I will ask for the "visor or bang trim" next time (I trust you) but I wish I could see pictures of that, have no idea what it looks like. LOL

Again: awesome job
and yes you have gorgeous hair!!! :-D

Lol, well I hate stress too and I did it! I bet you would be fine.

Lou, a bang or visor trim is just the part above her eyes. Kwim? I just didn't want you to ask for an eyebrow trim and get back a schnauzery poodle! And thanks for the compliment.

Thanks Carley's Mom! Lol, some of the grooms going on in the background make me feel like a youngster with kitchen scissors and a dog. I think you do just fine on your two. You should see some of the wack jobs I have to fix at work.
