Default Meet our newest addition

yeah, yeah I know I'm not supposed to get ANY more animals.... So I'm not.. after this one Haha.

This is Zoey, she is a year old and had less than perfect care thus far in her life. We are her third home and she is a sweetheart. Just goes to show that you should RESEARCH a new family member BEFORE you bring it home. Ah well, she'll have a fantastic home/life here and will be awaiting our ferret to return home. She was ferret napped (no just kidding) but is comming back. I'm so excited! Hope they get along!

lookit her little mask!! Awww I'm so happy savannah will have a critter to play with. The cats just don't know what to do with her. Maybe she'll be able to work some of her chubbiness off.

What a little darling.

Dianne has had a few ferret's in the past. I'll never forget the one that was in her bathroom one day while I was visiting and the little bugger bit me right under my thigh while I was sitting. Ooooh! I was mad at him! But most of the time they are just so funny to watch. The love to play.

Savannah is going to look amazingly HUGE and super tuby next to poor little Zoey who is just as skinny as she can be. I might even call her underweight. But Leiaaaa... she's eating walmart harvest something or other ferret food. There is actualy pictures of carrots, and corn, and peas and some fruit on the package. *eye roll* carnivore - need I say more? Poor thing, we'll fix it.

Mel don't you dare tell me Savannah baby is eating walmart harvest LoL... I'm gonna steal your puppy if you do!!

Congrats! I used to own a ferret, but my mom made me re-home
it due to she was allergic and broke out, lmao.

My newest addition is a hatchling red ear slider I found in the
middle of the gravel road, big as a 50 cent piece. Named him
Flavor Flav.

Interesting... I always wanted a ferret... guess I'm going to have to reconsider that one! I'm HIGHLY ALLERGIC to cats, so this might be a given.

My mother is highly alergic to cat (which is why my husband and I have TWO of them lol) but interestingly enough she was not allergic to the ferret?? Dunno how that works.

So WP, has your other baby come home yet? Do they get along? They are very communal animals, they prefer the company of others..I hope they are getting along well. She is VERY cute, My husband won't let me have another ferret I love them! We had 4 that we had to rehome because of moving to California, we did not want to take he chance they would be confiscated and put down. They have all dies of old age since, but they had a good life in their new homes, friends took them all.

her other ferret will be joining her June 21st, when I make the trip up there to get Zephyr.

I can't believe how strict california is about their animals! I think hedgehogs aren't allowed either, I really don't understand why.

Zephyr??? They say that in Cali the Ferret's are running wild and "hunting" the state bird to near extinction......I guess they need to start making constrictors against the law in FL in the glades, since they are being let loose out there by irrisponsible owners and eating the gators LOL!!!!
