My daughter Nikki has started a web page through CaringBridge to journal her experiences through her cure from cancer. She would love to hear for you.

She has had her first chemo treatment and did well with it for the most part. Her denied tests we finally approved. The rest of the tests showed no sign of cancer anywhere else in her body other than her breast and her underarm lymph nodes. We are extremely grateful for that. She has the worst type of aggressive cancer which is protein based. She will need to take Hercepton for a year to block the protein from growing the cancer.

She is quite fatigued but her spirits remain good! Another thing we are very grateful for.

Your daughter Nikki is a remarkable young woman! I was blown away reading her blog. She is bound to draw more and more strong, positive energy toward herself, which will sustain her and carry her through. I am only sorry that it took such a lousy illness to give me the delight of getting to know your wonderful Pooh!
