Just Need To Share This With My Friends
Unbelievable, incredibly, and mind numbingly, there has been a terrible tragedy in Dianne's husband's family.
Dianne's husband's name is Lee. Lee is one of 11 children in his family. His younger brother Tim and his wife Debbie lost their beautiful and very loving 19-year-old daughter to a very tragic snowmobile accident a little less than two years ago. It was and still is a very difficult reality to deal with; especially for them and her brother, Steven, who is still a teenager.
We went to show Song yesterday. When Dianne got home last night, Lee had more tragic family news to tell her.
Tim hunts with a group of men who belong to a camp in town. (This is a very small, close-knit community of less than 800 people, everyone knows everyone and probably know more than they care too at times.) One of the men in the camp wounded a deer. They gathered together and decided to go out in small groups to find the animal. Tim, his best friend, Ben and another man went down into the swamp area. We don't know how this could have possibly happened, but Tim shot his friend, Ben. Ben died in Tim's arms. The other hunter with them saw it all happen. He came down and was with Ben's body when Tim got up and walked about 20' and killed himself. The man realized what Tim was going to do and tried to run to him to stop him, but he just couldn't get to him in time.
Tim was a 30+ year hunting veteran of the utmost ethics. It is beyond comprehension that he made such a mistake and even more beyond comprehension that he took his own life after the accident. His wife is beyond consolable at this point in time and we are all very worried about their son. They are both saying things that have everyone very concerned that they, too, will lose their will to live.
We have lost two more of our own. There seems to be no rhyme nor reason to life lately.
This will be a tough week for all of us here. We have photos and a lot of video from Song's and Grace's show but will not be processing or posting anything until we get past this; which I am sure that everyone understands.
Again, I am requesting prayers and love for the families and friends of these two families who have suffered an unimaginable loss.
Thank you for helping us carry yet another burden.

Oh Debbie. As you said, numbing news, so numbing. Hard for all involved to take a normal breathe, many in shock I would think. Prayers indeed for so many. Hugs Debbie, as your daughter needs you, and now your sister and her family needs you. Take care of yourself too. Such heart ache, I am so sorry....

Debbie, this is certainly, heart wrenching, unbelievable news and I am sure it has not only shocked your family but the entire community. It must seem as if your family is under fire but realize God has not abandon you and this is not some type of punishment, although very much a trial. I will keep your entire family in my prayers, for peace and healing. So sorry for this hard time, this too will pass and peace be with you.

Relationships come in many forms, and even though I don't know anybody on this forum personally, I feel a strong sense of support for other members through our shared love of poodles. The longer I'm here, the stronger the connection. Words fail me in the face of such senseless tragedy, but you have my unwavering support and continued healing prayers.

I am so very sad for your family's losses. So hard to make any sense out of any of it right now, I am sure. Know that you have many friends who will keep you in their thoughts and hope to help you through this very difficult time.

I'm dumbstruck, and heartsick for you all. Somehow, some way, I hope everyone can come through this. My deepest sympathy and concern for everyone.
