Question Deodorizing Candles

Have any of you ever tried those "pet odor exterminator" candles? I've been really tempted to try one, but the shipping amount is high for just one. It's free shipping if buying five. I hate to order that many not knowing if they are any good.

Oh, by the way, my poodles don't stink but my cats are another story, lol!

I'm not sure if this is same brand, but a local pet store here had some pet odor candles and I bought one. I think the scent was island breeze or something to that effect, and it smelled amazing!! If you're like me and will burn a candle for hours on end, it won't last very long. I went back to get another one and they were out and weren't sure when they would order more :(

At the time I bought it I had three pet rats and my gassy husky. After about 15 minutes of burning it, you could smell it in the entire living room, but I couldn't really smell it from the kitchen or hallway. It was kind of strong though, so if you don't like strong fragrances I would try a more subtle scent

I've never tried the pet odor eliminator candles, but I DO love my candles, especially Pier 1. They smell good even when not lit, as do the reed diffusers.

Thank you, Muffin and Rowan. I love candles and I do burn them for hours, lol! I was just wondering if those odor remover ones worked any better than regular candles. I burn a lot of the PartyLite candles (daughter-in-law used to sell them). I also like the reed diffusers.

Sorry to bring back an old thread but I thought I should share that I bought a couple candles from ULTA beauty (their own brand) and holy moly. They are amazing! My husband put one in my daughters room this morning after she had a stinky poo and I wouldn't have even known if I didn't smell it in our living room! I looked over to where the candle was, and it was gone. My husband said he put it in our daughters room, so I went in there to blow it out because I'm iffy about having super strong scents around my daughter (she wasn't in her room at the time though) but it didn't even smell that strong in there. It was just... nice smelling. It hadn't even been burning all that long, my daughter had woken up maybe 20 minutes ago. These are by far my new favorite candles!

Wow, thanks for the information! It's always great to hear about something new.

What scent did you buy?

I got the "Silver Pine" scent, it's not really my first choice as far as fragrances go, but I am way too anal about my home decor and needed a green candle. I'm always limited to scents like pine and honeydew but I especially liked this one because it's not the usual "pine" type of smell that instantly makes you think of Christmas. If I had to guess, I would say it has citrus, sandalwood and ginger undertones. It's really quite lovely.

I won a Scentsy warmer in a dog show raffle, and now I'm hooked! The fragrances are amazing, long-lasting (some better than others), and the warmers come in all sorts of designs. It's safer than a burning candle and stays at a low temperature.

I have no affiliation with the company, just really enjoy the product!

I looked at their website and they really do have quite the selection! I have only tried the warmer things with the oil that you put the tea light candles under, but I wasn't too impressed. This, I want to try though!
