Last week our agility club was trying to figure out something to give our lead instructor for her 60th birthday which was the day before our meeting..so our first choice was an embroidered shirt with our club logo and the word coach..until we found out the embroidery place was closed until the day of our meeting..oops...Since I was on vacation I said I would try to work something up..I was thinking a little iron transfer..so "borrowed" a picture from her facebook and went to get some transfer paper..asked at the craft store if they had totes or something to put it on..they said no but go to the fabric store next store as they sometimes had some.....SCCCCCCCCCCOOOOOOOORRRRRREEEE. I found some nice size totes for agility on sale for 4.99..so I bought several and spent the weekend working up some totes..
This is the one I did for the instructor..
I did this one for a friend who will hopefully be starting agility soon with her sheltie
and this one for a friend's whose youngest shih tzu things are all pink..
I like them so much I went back the next day and bought 12 more totes (a friend wants a couple of them to do her own project) and they were having a new year's eve sale so I got an additional 11% off the 4.99..so I bought 12 totes for under 60 dollars...
I spent 40 dollars on a picture tote that I had done for me a year ago and I think I like these totes better for agility so will probably have to make myself one or two..LOL
