Default What did you get for Christmas??

Post pics of what you got? Did anyone else get poodle-y things??

My brother & his fiance found these for me:

they're not only poodle slippers, but they're heated poodle slippers; they have wheat bags sitting in a wee pocket over the toes that you heat in the microwave and put back into their pockets for heated toes. Mmmm!!!!!

I got a few other nick nacks too, a neat basket made 100% from candy wrappers all rolled into long thin strips and woven into a basket. Vouchers, pen, bookmark, a few purple things (if I'm not nuts about poodles, purple comes in close behind. haha!)

The big pressie I got was from my mum; a painting she did of me on my wedding day on a big canvas!

based on this photo:

it's almost freaky getting a painting of yourself, but it's awesome too and I love it.

Sooo, what did you get?

That is a wonderful painting..something I'm sure you'll treasure forever..

I have no pictures to share..money from my parents, a clean run gift certificate from my brother and a petedge gift certificate from my sister..I have been surfing websites..LOL..

Excited for the petedge gc..Trying to decide on new beds for the kids or possibly towards a clipper or dryer..I'm lucky in that Flyer's breeder is a groomer and always does Flyer for me but my winter project is to learn some poodle grooming in case I ever need to do him when she is not available.

Ooh great slippes, and lovely portrait.

I did pretty well, I still get a stocking (yes... at 30 years old) filled with chocolate, magazines and other small items. I also got a bodum coffee pot, some cook books and the first season of Modern Family.

The only Poodle gift that I received, that I loved, was this keychain. It looks just like a mini Darcy!

Darcy did well, he received a stuffed animal that you put a water bottle in and a new bed from my dad for the office. This one in red, he loves it! Eco Nap | West Paw Design

That is such a lovely painting, FD! How kind of your mom to make that for you, it's beautiful.

I got a few poodle things... My sister got me these awesome poodle/doggy slippers that are remarkably comfortable, and she got me a Poodle change purse that I've attached to my regular purse as a charm. It's so cute! Desmond got some new collars (yess!!!) two new martingales, one with a chain and one regular, and a UT collar to remind him of me when I leave for college. And I finally have the obligatory "Dog Lover" coffee mug <3

I also got some me stuff, lol, but my favorites were the Quesadilla maker (woo! easy dinners/snacks, and dorm-approved for next year!) and an infuser tea pot for the tea-lover in me. I finally got a proper portfolio for my art, as the trunk of my car just isn't cutting it lol.
It has been such a wonderful Christmas for us over here. I am so happy that everyone is happy.

I got money for things I need/want. I'm getting a new sewing machine that also does embroidery for my business and also a new fundraiser for CARES as well as a bunch of poodle stuff.
I also got a wonderful Urban Decay eyeshadow box. I am a total Urban Decay addict and get a new one every Christmas.
I only have 2 gifts I need to exchange, one is a purse that is nearly identical to my current one (I don't need 2) and some long johns that I can't wear because of my CRPS.

I got a Spa package, very nice one. A few gift cards, candles and other smaller items.

And my daughter found some poodle salt and pepper shakers! I love them and what a great find for her, she was so excited.

My sister-in-law tied an ornament to my package (I'll have to take a pic) that is a felt heart with a white poodle on it! How fitting, as I say, Auggie is my "heart dog."

I got my daughter a poodle coloring book, a pink poodle pen from Build-A-Bear, pink underpants with white poodles on them, and a Vera Bradley-ish backpack that has pink poodles all over it!!!!

Flyingduster; I love your painting; what a treasure. Your slippers are way cool, too!

What a lovely painting!

Santa had brought our house a new TV system to the people and a corrected bite to Cosmo earlier this month and is also taking us on vacation in two weeks so Christmas was modest. I do love the new lasagna pan and french onion soup bowls I found under the tree though!
