My boyfriend took the year off school this year to figure out what he really wanted to do. He was majoring in math, but his passion is computer programming.
He started working 6 days a week for his dad's moving company, and seemed rather down in the dumps. He was always tired from working and was not much fun at all.
Sometime in August, we bumped into a friend of mine who had started dating a guy that owned his own web development business. He and my boyfriend chatted a bit, exchanged info but didn't hear anything from him after that.
Then, about three weeks ago, my boyfriend gets an email from him asking to meet up to discuss some programming stuff. They met up and he offered my boyfriend some contract work. Everything went great, and they kept increasing his hours, and just today they offered him a full time position!!


This is my boyfriend's dream job!! He has really blossomed these past few weeks and is so much more confident and happy and talkative than ever before.

I'm so happy for him, and also for us, because his down in the dumps attitude was having a serious effect on our relationship.
