Nicholas just started trying to play with the dog's this week. He tries to throw the rope for Howie and tries to play tug with it as well. Howie is learning that mommy will keeeel him if he messes up and nibbles or knocks over the baby while he's trying to play. Actually, Nicholas is teaching him that those things are unpleasant on his own. Howie doesn't like to hear Nicholas scream it seems. he's learned to be pretty gentle, (ahem, Saleen are you paying attention here??? GENTLE!!!), because if he knocks the baby over or lunges at him while he bouncing around it will scare Nicholas and that equals the loud screaming and crying that causes tucked tails around here. I don't really let him play with the poodles, they are dumb blonds when it comes to their feet. They step all over everything (not a fun thing when you have a broken toe!). Saleen is especially graceful and manages to trip over baby toys and today the carseat... ??? I love her, but sometimes I really wonder where her brain goes when we aren't training. She can be really brilliant and then she can run smack into a baby gate five minutes later.
Anyway.... yay for our little future junior handler... wonder if he'll show a spoo or a tibbie when he get's bigger. We already have an outfit picked out for his first national hahah

I've decided he can show Wonder in veterans in a few years just to be cute.
