I took my 8 yr. old sm. toy male poodle to the vet on Fri. because "Mikey" wasn't eating as he usually does. I thought it was his ears or a sore throat. They did a blood test and his BUN was 78. I had to leave him over the weekend so that he could have IV's to flush his kidneys. The Vet was a bit surprised as he is still young. I have had very bad luck with my dogs lately. I lost a 4 yr. old tiny toy poodle to cancer 8 yrs ago while I also was going through Chemo and radiation. I bought Mikey in 2004. Then a couple years ago, my little Chihauhua, Minnie was diagnosed with glaucoma. I am very stressed as I never have had so many things go wrong with a dog. I am a very good "mommy" to them. They have a fenced yard and doggy doors. They are on RD for a diet to keep them from getting heavy as my vet wanted Minnie and I wanted Mikey on RD for their weight. I am very anxious to find out tomorrow what is going to happend to my baby "fat" boy. Bitsy04
