Default Still no coat change...

Atticus is 13 months and still no coat change. Its thicker than when he was a puppy but it is still really soft and wavy and even crimpy in come spots. The front of his topknot feels coarser and stands up on its own but the rest of his topknot and even his tail pom usually just falls flat. He's been shaved down the past couple months so maybe I didnt notice it happened because he has no matting, or it could of not hasnt happened yet. Will it eventually happen or is he stuck with his limp, wavy hair?

His poor flat topknot :(

Poppy is 15 months - her coat has definitely thickened and stiffened over the past few months, especially along her topline, her top knot and her tail, but her legs are still very soft and silky (except when she has been wading in cow flops ...). I think she will always have a rather soft coat - certainly when compared to a non-colour standard poodle.

I wish we could get Atticus and Poppy together for a play date - I suspect they would have a lot of fun!

Toys have notoriously soft coats.

yup, I'd say what he has is what he'll get. Toys usually have worse coats then Atticus has, so be grateful for that much! lol!
