Hope everything goes well and is fun! I always love to watch the poodles at shows... until I have to compete with them in group that is lol. Sometimes it's hard for a little tibetan spaniel to stand out against a big beautiful standard.

Good luck with it! I wish there was a place I could for handling experience. I may just need to start my own!

Well, Im happy to report class went very good and Mikey has fans now. lol
He was shy at first and not sure about his surrounding's but soon discovered it was cool. Plus he got tons of treats.

I was also pleased that the handler's thought he was very nice (confirmation wise). I knew he was a pretty nice but they confirmed it even more. Yea!!! Next Thursday at 7:30 we have another date!

What does confirmation wise mean?

Oh, thanks - I have been wondering what it meant for a while - lol not sav on dog showing. When I had the trainer for Ginger he said she behaved like show dog - we did the figure eights etc. she did good - she does better alone than with Teddy. do you walk your dogs separately or together?

I do both...one dog and two. If I have my kids with me I can only handle one dog...well usually. Sometimes I get brave and walk two dogs with the jogging stroller. I can't wait until my son gets old enough to handle the dogs. Im going to put him to work walking dogs with me. lol

Then I would like my son to do junior handling. I just hope he wants to. He already walks the boys around playing dog show. I think he has it in him. lol He's exactly like me!

Hi Jenn, Where was the handling class you took Mikey to? Sounds like a good thing and like you and he had fun. The pix of Mikey look awsome. He looks like he is maturing also. Of course your son is a cutie also, as usual. Its nice to hear that he sounds like he too has a great interest in your dogs. Is this class actually a show class, or are you getting him prepped for showing?

We really need to get Finn into some classes, even to make buddies with other doggies.
