Default can anyone, or everyone give me a name or name of a good breeder

If anyone has a name or two of a reputable breeder of small poodles in or around the Houston, TX area I would really appreciate it. Harley Chick I know you gave one before but I have searched and cannot seem to locate the thread, could you please repost when you have time. I need a back up plan if we find that Star is too unhealthy. Thank you in advance to everyone.

Best of luck.

Thanks for the info I will start research immediately all I found is allegro poodles through AKC classified. They do compete and genetic screening. They actually have a silver toy, I think large available. I will check as many as I can.

I live in San Diego and have 1 silver toy male available. He is 2 weeks old so it will be a little while before he is ready :-)

She has a young daughter in the house. I think Mini or Standard is more appropriate given the age of her daughter and her daughter's friends.

Yeah I wouldn't do a toy with a 5 year old.

If I posted a link, I don't remember it, LOL! I would check with the club mentioned. I've been looking for a Standard, so I don't know how much help I can be, but there are a few other local clubs and of course theres the National club:

This is a good site to start with:
http://www.poodlesonline.com/

Poodle Club of America (list of some breeders in TX)http://www.poodleclubofamerica.org/usamap.htm#TEXAS

Houston Poodle Club
http://www.bluebonnetpoodleclubofhouston.org/

Poodle Club in Dallas
http://www.lspc.org/

San Antonio Poodle Club:
http://www.thepoodleclubofsanantonio.com/

There's a dog show in your area starting Nov. 6th. I went to my first show recently and will be going to another at the end of October. You should check it out, I had a blast and made some great connections. The info's here:
http://www.onofrio.com/execpgm/index?index=PL

I have a few toy breeders and maybe one Mini breeder saved in my favorites folder. If you want I'll look through them. Feel free to PM me too. I'm not an expert, but I'm willing to help and direct to other member who know more than me.

I guess this means things aren't going well w/ your rescue pup? I'm sorry if that the case, but I think you should go w/ your gut no matter what it says.
