Default Help me make a list of what I'm gonna need for a new spoo!

So, I've been looking on and off for about a year for a poodle, and it's finally been decided that I definitely will get one, just not something up in the air anymore.
I'm not sure the exact poodle, or from who yet but I'm talking to multiple breeders. c: It's gonna be a red, apricot, or cream standard though, I know that.
I figured I should start stocking up on supplies.
Anyone wanna help me make a list of what I'm gonna need? I'm just so excited! haha

Man, shopping for a new dog is so much fun! Are you going to get a puppy or look for a grown up?
If you are getting a puppy you should definitely get a crate, a leash and collar, a water bowl, a bunch of Kongs ( our one year old dog only eats from Kongs which makes him easier to leave by himself) and a pin brush. Those are some of the basics, but maybe some other folks will chime in!

Best investment I ever made was the crate that you can put the slider in the middle to halve the size and then remove it for when they get bigger. Amazon will be your friend lol

I really like the big crate with a divider. If you are planing to leave your spoo free in the house when you are not home you should get a pen and a baby door gate. I would get him a big soft teddy bear, Sushi still sleep with his! You need 2-3 different chew toys like a rope style one and the Kong Squeezz Ring. Also start keeping empty water bottles you can put in an old sock to create a "cracking" toy.

Lots of bullies, trachea and chicken feet along with lots of toys. Provide lots of approved chewing options and he is less likely to go for non approved like furniture. I love my CC comb. Comb to the skin and you will never need to worry about Matt's. I wish I had purchased a dog agility book and started working on foundations earlier. Even if you don't do agility it will come in handy anyway. I like a cushy bed for him to be able to lie down on. Marshall's and TJMaXX has some great dog stuff. You will need puppy shampoo, dog enzyme and it is handy to have the poop bags that you can clip onto your pants - they have these as Marshall's.

Buy a crate big enough for an adult with a puppy divider for when they're small. I bought Jazz the same size crate as Bonnie has and he quickly outgrew it (waste of money!). Lots of squeeky toys. Poodle usually love toys. You should search for Jacamar's thread. Panda got oodles of stuff. LOL
