Default "Doesn't Even Know She's a Rescue, Yet"
Our wonderful groomer, Madeline, also runs Southern California Poodle Rescue. When I dropped off Beau this morning at 8 AM for his regular groom, there were no dogs in rescue. But as I walked from my car to go in and pick up Beau at 12:45, a big-sounding dog was baying the most forlorn howl you can imagine.

I asked Madeline, "Who's howling? Is it a rescue"?

She pointed to a white standard standing just on the other side of a sliding glass door leading to a large enclosed area outside, and said, "That's Shelli. She just came in. She thinks she just came here for a bath; doesn't even know she's a rescue yet."

Just about broke my heart.

Here she is. Spread the word!

Oh she is beautiful... I wish I were closer. She looks so much like Remington. How sad, I hope that she finds the most wonderful home where she is spoiled rotten.
