Oh, so sad! But she's lovely and there are lots of poodle lovers out there so I'm confident she'll get a great home, poor little muffin.

A groomer friend of mine lost her standard a few months back, and has been searching for another rescue and this girl seems to be exactly what she is looking for. I passed the link to this thread on to her.

Yep, Shelli adopted out almost immediately, which is a blessing for all concerned. It seems anyone interested in rescuing a spoo -- or a well-bred mini or toy, for that matter -- needs to be ready to act at the drop of a hat, cause they get snapped right up.
Still, I doubt I will ever forget the pathos of Madeline's statement, or the sound of Shelli's howl. Funny how loving a poodle leaves you wide open to such things.

So happy to hear this, she was a looker for sure, not surprised she went fast.
