Really happy with most of the shots I got from out photo shoot today. This took about 8 hours of grooming to accomplish between getting him ready and fixing him up afterwards from bathing, drying, brushing, combing, banding, clipping, scissoring, re-fluffing, show banding, spraying up, touch up scissoring, bathing again, drying again, brushing, combing, banding.

Thanks guys. We actually darkened the backdrop in post. It depends on your screen settings how the pictures look. I edited these on my phone which has a different setting than my computer screen which will likely be different than your screen. If I were to print it out to hang somewhere I would definitely check with where I was sending it to to see how it would show up on their screens/how it would print.

Once she had the flashes set up it was pretty easy to get nice shots. Very few didn't turn out due to lighting.. Now a black and white dog would be more difficult, as you would have to choose which color you would expose properly. Either you'd expose for the black and blow out the white, or expose for the white and have black blobs.

I can't find one that I love the most... Love them all! Looks like it was well worth the 8 hours grooming :) As someone hoping to acquire a show prospect I love your posts, they are so helpful for those of us who one day hope to accomplish what you have done (own, groom and show a standard puppy!)
