I've personally owned everything but silver;
My Black std male - Alpha male, very moody, very lazy, likes to be alone, loves going for rides or out fishing with Daddy. Swear he was a hound dog in a previous life. When he wants momma's love he'll come find her and no body better come aroound, growl.
My Black std female - Sweet, momma's girl, social butterfly,very vocal, very smart, maybe to smart made her more vocal. If one of us doesn't respond, she'll go to the other to get what she wants. Loves people and small dogs. Played with brown toy as baby. Acts like mamma dog. Hates getting her feet wet. Loves going for rides.
My Apricot cream - Thinks she's a lap dog at 45 lbs. Has to touch, is obsessive compulsive with her toys, rarely find her without one in her mouth. Very patient, will sit in the background during treat time knowing you'll come to her to give her the goodies. She Woo woos when someone gets the toy she wants. likes to be in the same room with you or at least see you from a vantage point. Hates the car, literally turns green.
My red mini girl - Very Independent, great hunter instinct, minimal touching, only at her wanting and when she does she is all over you, little cuddle monster. Prefers Daddy. Except when whelping. Can be very stubburn, will wait to the very last to go out and do her duty. Doesn't like to get her feet wet. Very good momma dog. Very patient with any new puppies in the house.
My red mini boy - Character!, little man syndrome, momma's boy, not fixed so he protects all the girls. Cuts in between Sam and Bindi to call the play off. Cute to the bone and knows it. He never leaves my side if he can help it.
My Red std girl - Very calm and very sweet, likes people and little dogs and likes to play with her puppy social group. As an example of her calm nature, at 5 months we went to our first show in a non licensed class (no points), we had alot of nonstop barking with Jack Russells behind us and American Eskimos in front of us, she never barked and just went to sleep in all the noise. Now she is very vocal when she wants something like treats, food time and potty time. Girl won't quit till she has your attention and if not expect her to climb into your lap.
My White mini girl - Miss priss was a lady, calm affectionate and loved to be groomed, liked to play ball with her favorite red ball and play tug with her buddy a brown toy. Loved walks and hated lightening & thunder. Exceptional, never a problem.
My Brown toy girl - Clown but tough as nails, that girl would not back down, told you when she wanted to play. Never knew a strange person or dog or cat in her life. Loved to swim! Very hard to potty train even with crate training.
My black toy girl - Shy!!! should have been a one dog to older person owner, constant lap puppy. Very sweet, never played with brown toy or white mini. Not very emotional, very calm, laid back.
Co-owned white toy girl - Bouncy! girl has springs in her legs, may be aggressive on her own turf with my red minis but loves to play with them. She can talk but more then likely she will stare you down for treats. Prefers not to get her feet wet. Loves walks and going to meet people, great in the nursing home. Has instinct to stay calm and not bounce.
I have found the boys faster to potty train then the girls except my apricot girl and red std girl. However the apricot was going out with the black std male as a pup.
