Hi Everyone! Some of you know I have been working with a breeder over the last six months and have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new puppy! Well things didn't turn out exactly as planned and I got a phone call from the breeder telling me that she had a puppy from another litter that was perfect for me. She sounded amazing, so I flew up to meet the mother who was just the sweetest cuddler and then she brought out the prettiest little puppy that I have ever seen! I wish I had a picture that does her justice. She weights 4.7lb but looks and carries herself with such a maturity. Josie was originally going to go to a show home but I was extremely lucky and got to bring her home! I am so tickled and appreciative that I was given the opportunity to take home such a great little dog! I will hopefully get more pictures to post but just wanted to share my excitement with all of you! She really did take my breath away when she was brought out and I couldn't believe she was the dog that was picked out for me. I FEEL SO LUCKY!!!

Thanks everyone! She is so special and I have fallen for her already. She is such a high energy little girl. Within the first 24 hours she knew her name and she already comes very reliably when called (okay so I do it in a very excited voice which never seems to fail to work!) and she fetches and drops her toys at your feet so you can throw the toy again. She loves the largest toys possible and seems to ignore the little tiny puppy toys I got her!! I will definitely post more pictures...she moves so quickly they all come out blurry or I just get her nose like which she touched it to the camera just yesterday.

Enjoy your new girl. She is adorable! We had a black and tan toy that stole our hearts. That is how we got hooked on poodle! I just noticed where you are from. I grew up in Vista. We were stationed back in Oceanside and moved from there seven years ago. Miss the weather this time of year.
