What does your dog do?
I'm curious to find out what your dog does to get in the house?
Murphy's 4 months and has barked once to come in. Otherwise he politely sits near the back door and waits for someone to let him in.
I'm sure once the brrrr chilly winter blows in he might be a wee bit more impatient!!!

Our back door doesn't latch very easily in the winter when the wood swells, so Indy gives it a powerful shove and often it opens for her. Scares the wits out of anyone sitting in the living room though! Maddy will just prowl around and take the opportunity to get into mischief outside if no one is waiting to let her in

Our mini has always just jumped up on the door, so we hear his claws tapping against it when he wants to come in. Unfortunately our spoo has learned this from him as well, so when we hear the earsplitting CRASH, we know he's done! LOL, oh well.

My spoo pup, who no longer fits through the cat door, still tries! He "digs" at it, squeezes his nose and a front arm through and barks. Funniest sight ever!

Cairo paces and whines, the Vienna will get bored and find a place to lay down, Vegas starts punching the door.

Scratching and barking. Oh and we are always out with them so we are totally aware they want to come in and are done. Lol.

Mine scratch, loudly. My toy, oddly enough, is the loudest. He really gets at it too! It sounds like he is digging a hole to China in my door lol. Trev gives it a couple polite scratches, then waits for a while.
I take that back, Dusty barks instead of scratches. And he doesn't give up, we've tried waiting him out.
