"The Adventures of Stella, the Big White Poodle"
My friend and family have gotten quite a kick out of me and Stella... yesterday my hairdresser told me I should be writing Children's books. lol Stella is a handful, she keeps me on my toes. She has issues, but she also makes me laugh! She makes life interesting! She does not obey unless I have a pocket full of hotdog bites and I can't fool her... she know when I don't. Today, I let them out and she and Carley run down to the cow pasture... I call, "Come", Carley comes... we go inside and I watch Stella rolling herself in cow poo... Wed. I give Carley her turkey neck and knowing that Stella refuses to eat them, call her inside for her meal of kibble, she runs by Carley, steals the neck and eats it!!! I have tried and tried to get her to eat them, but unless they are stolen they are not fit to consume...
My mom has replaced me as her dog's God Mother! She don't want them to ever have to live with Stella! My daughter is in a panic because she has a summer trip planned in Europe, but now , because I have Stella, she has no one to keep her dog... she don't want her to have to stay with Stella. No one comes to visit without calling to make sure Stella is in her crate before entering the house.
You can just read Carley's mind ..."she is not doing what Mom said..." she don't know what to think about her and she watches me to see what I am going to do . I don't know what to do! LOL
Does anyone else out there have a dog that needs to be in a Children's book? Please tell me I am not alone in this...

I am so in love with Stella... She and Remington must be made out of the same poodle pants HA! Just remember it takes time to settle in... After years there are still days that Remington's horns knock his halo all the way off and he is a little devil... (This morning... He learned how to open the fridge - don't need to tell you what my kitchen looked like). It will get better.... And yes after posting a few of his stories on here, I have thought about writing a children's book....

I actually picked up an amazing comic series called "Beasts of Burden-Animal Rites" by Jill Thompson.
It's not made for children, actually, but for adult dog lovers. It's one of the most touching books I have ever read.

My mom and daugther live right here beside me. My little grandson has my dogs and my mom's to play with and he claims them all as "HIS dogs", but not Stella. You can ask him what his dogs names are and he will name everyone but Stella... if you ask him , hey what about Stella?? He will tell you that she is Mimi's dog. lol
Thanks guys for the support, I can only imagine those puppies...lol

I for one would think those would be little devils.... HA Super smart but little imps when it comes down to personality... But you know I would bet that they would be aweful fun to have... Alas, Remington has already had a little snip snip... but if I could afford it, I would totally clone him!

Aaaahh...poor Stella. It sure sounds like Stella was never trained properly. Luckily her antics aren't too annoying (okay- maybe the rolling in cow poop part was LOL).

are you sure she's not part cairn terrier? LOL! i call my terriers "the bad babies" for a reason. they are evil, naughty and bad. and make me laugh. they definitely have a mind of their own.
