... and seems to have mellowed out some. NOT!!! Ha!!

It's been a while since I visited so hope everyone had a Happy & Blessed T'giving with their loved ones and if you don't celebrate T'giving -- I hope every day is filled with love and good cheer!!

Like I said, Remi reached his one-year birthday without killing himself or anything else. He is very put out these days as his best friend/'sister' had 4 puppies last Sunday and now he has no play buddy in the house. He doesn't understand why Bella (Shih Tzu) stays inside a box nearly all day long nursing these sausage-shaped black & white things!!

I do have a funny story to tell. Every night I say "Ok guys (it used to be him and Bella but now it's just Remi) let's go to bed" and they would both run down the hallway to my bedroom door. Sometimes Remi would pick out a toy or something to take to 'bed' with him. (Yes, periodically I have to retrieve all the toys from my bed and put them back in the toy basket!)

So night before last I watched Remi CHANGE HIS MIND about what to take to bed with him. I said the key words and he ran to the dog cot and picked out a little toy he likes. He ran (he almost never walks) down the hallway to my bedroom, got about 1/2 way down and turned around. I was still gathering my stuff up.

Remi ran BACK to the cot with the toy, dropped it, and picked up a cow hoof instead. Then he ran back down the hallway to my bedroom, jumped on the bed and was happily gnawing the hoof when I finally got there! I just laughed and laughed. That Dog!!
