Poodle Thanksgiving Traditions
Do you have Poodle Thanksgiving Traditions?
We do! Every Thanksgiving, we drive over three hours to meet our dear friends for Thanksgiving! They have three Bernese Mountain Dogs and my Standard Poodle (Louie) plays and hikes with them, before Thanksgiving dinner! There is snow---and a lake---and hiking trails! We have treats and water for the doggies (special treats for a special Thanksgiving day). Our Poodle is so much a part of our lives and hearts and traditions! There is truly something special about having dog-people as friends! HerdingStdPoodle |

The most important one to my babies has been that they always get the neck and giblets to the turkey! lol
They know when I bring a turkey in, that they get treats... Plus who can resist the sad eyes when you are eating your part of the turkey and they give you that look.  I decided years ago that they would get their own plate of doggy safe things from the table... Yes I am my dogs and not the other way around.I wish I had some close by dog people friends, but we don't so our Thanksgiving is all about close family and we're good with most of them having four legs. |
