I am wondering what your opinions are concerning colors and whether they 'predict' the personality of the poodle. I have read that blacks, blues are the most stable. Whites are sensitive. Apricots are moody. Browns are clownish. Not sure what reds and silvers are..but have read these things from breeders websites-any opinions out there?
Lol I think that is the debate of the century here right guys LOL. I really have not experianced all the colors enough to be able to say, I think the parents personalities do have something to do with how they come out though. Good luck and if you find the answer please pass it on lol!
I personally have whites and a brown, but as a groomer i come into contact with all colours on a daily basis.
I dont have much problem with black/ blues or whites generally. The reds are always very timid (this is toys i am talking about, they are the most common here). Browns are mad, very sweet, but always a bit hypo and anxious sort of dogs.
Yes this is the great debate ound: Browns are clowns whether ppl want to believe it or not. White arent really sensitive, its the lines you put them too. My mum had the name in silver and white poodles, some of the best in Australia. Great personalities, happy as larry. When she stopped breeding, her lines when out, others were just putting anything to anything, which ruined my mums lines. When I bought some whites with mums lines only they were in the 4th and 5 th generation, they were all ruined. Sulky temperaments, long in body, ewe necks, straight in stifle, too much to say really. These were minis. Toys were just a delight.
Back outta this thread very slowly :bolt: OK that was fast ound:
 Are you sure you went fast enough!!?? LOL Are you sure you didn't want to take one of these? lane: ha, ha!
