First of all I'd like to say how nice it is to see CelticKitti posting here again. Second of all, I just get so much pleasure in watching dogs in agility! Even when the mess up it is still remarkable to watch the bond between the dog and its owner. I love how they are so revved up and raring to go while they wait their turn. If you get into agility, please post lots of video here.

I'm an Agility fan myself, though I think that poodles can do both. I did a little Flyball with my first spoo, many years ago when the sport was first starting. It especially helps for Flyball if the dog is ball-crazy.

As the human side of the team, ask yourself about your tolerance for noise and chaos--Flyball features both! Then there's the team aspect of Flyball, which gives a whole 'nother dynamic to the sport. Agility does involve more "waiting around" on trial days, and there will be 'way more equipment "must haves" if you really get into it!

Patalina,

You can certainly try both. Then your dog and yourself can see which you both like better, focus on training in that to start, and move into additional events later. I do all kinds of performance events with Fallon but she loves agility and lure coursing best of all.
