Where's part 2 of the article?! Interesting conclusion, but really curious why that is. Does this mean that my husband is a stranger cause Leroy likes to go for his crotch? lol Leroy loves sniffing my eyeballs, mouth, and ears.

Yay part 2! Thanks for the link! Another interesting point to consider is that most strangers will not get face to face with an unknown dog. Especially not right away. After chatting with the owner for a few minutes the person may get down on one knee to pet the dog closer, but by that time I'm sure the dog's already buried their head into the stranger's crotch! With our own dogs, we immediately greet them face to face, I know mine loves to smell my mouth to smell what I've been eating, and Leroy focuses on my hands to see if they will be grabbing a leash, keys, getting food from the counter, etc.
