Once this wart goes he should be immune so shouldn't get them again

It is nice to hear their is a silver lining and he will now be immune. At least you can see the light at the end of the tunnel now and Panda can enjoy his game time again.

Yeah, if we miss the training this weekend and the competition next weekend then that is it until February. Well there is a competition end of Jan but Panda wont have even had a single training session for over 4 months so not sure how much use he will be, he may have forgotten everything! Or he may be too excited and just run out... who knows.

Just glad its finally starting to go, feels like its been there forever, I want him to be able to play with other dogs again!

Sorry to post on such an old thread (and kind of hijack the thread at that!), but Panda, I'm wondering if you can tell me how your dog did on the azithromycin, if you remember? How old was he when he got it, and how long did he stay on it? Our vet just prescribed this drug for our spoo puppy, Begley, for an intestinal protozoa parasite, and warned us it could be a bit harsh on their tummies. So I'm just curious about other dogs' experiences with the drug, and this thread came up when I searched for the term.

Panda was on it for about 15 days if i remember correctly, he was about 1 and a half when he had it and his tummy was fine. Didn't cause any side effects with him (and he has a very sensitive tummy anyway so that was good) although it didnt do anything to speed up his wart recovery either.

Thanks, Panda. I know each dog reacts differently to medication, but it's a bit of a comfort for me to know that your dog was okay with it for the entire 15 days in terms of negative side effects. Hopefully it doesn't affect Begley negatively, either, and that it works for his parasite.

Glad to hear that you eventually found something to clear up Panda's warts, too.
