Well I'm going to Houston, TX tomorrow and had to take Fallen and Ole to the Vet for boarding, I bet the vet thinks boy she sure goes out of town a lot. Its just a few days short of a month, since they were last boarded. Dang I should have waited until after November, but I couldn't pass up that face. It feels empty here with out them. The tech at the groomers did say Wow he gotten bigger and look at those pom poms LOL. To me he looks the same size he was a month ago, he may have gotten a little wider. I do know that he is a lot more muscular then before, I guess from all that leaping and zooming around the tree. I'm going to enjoy my mini vacation, but which he could have come with me. My babies.

It's so sad when you have to leave your babies. I know when I went to Florida in July, I cried all the way to the airport. But I got my Mom to phone the kennel a few times, and the girls were the "queens of the kennel". So I felt better to know they were having fun too! Your vacation will fly by so fast - but enjoy it as much as you can!

Thank you, I know, when I woke this morning and walked pass his crate, I was a little sad, but tomorrow my Birthday and like you said it will all be over really quick, but you can bet I'll be calling everyday except for Sunday.

I hate, hate, hate leaving mine, too. We were away last weekend, and had a dogsitter in, one that he knows from previous sits. He loves her, and was completely happy, but all sorts of nightmare fantasies of him getting loose or eaten by a local Staffie ran through my head all weekend.

I have been away from home for a week getting my girl settled in residence at U of Toronto. We have had a blast together, sightseeing, art gallery, bus tours, buying bedding etc etc, but I have missed Sisko so much. Larry was trying to get him in front of the computer to do Facetime with me, but he wasn't cooperative. He has become an even bigger cling-on and stuck by Larry as he vacuumed and has started going to the bathroom with him. He has claimed my half of the bed for the past 2 nights. I'll be home tomorrow night, but I don't think even reunion with Sisko will quite make up for leaving my youngest thousands of miles away.

Oh, I know how you feel about leaving your daughter...I got Indie to fill that void...thank goodness for Sisko, he's there forever and you can let your dtr start building her life knowing you still have something to nurture!
We left our babies with our son for 5 days while we went to N Carolina (so beautiful) to see my husband's sister. Our son texted action shots of them to me, so that helped! Lar's sister says no dogs in the house...we were not about to have them stay outside! But it was awful without them, they would have loved the nature!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY IFF, enjoy!
