Thanks for your feedback. I actually gave thought to this before I posted my thread but decided against it because in my experience, polls and voting contests about this particular subject turn into a popularity contest more than anything else.
One thing I didn't mention is that Todd and I will carefully look at each person's past on Poodleforum (i.e. viewing their posting history) to get an idea of your contributions to this community and how well you can handle disagreement.
