Hanging out with Maggie, a 1 yr old spoo. Wondering what her color is??? Could she end up a blue??? Her face is growing in a different color... This is my sister-in-law's spoo.

I would definitely say she will end up blue, probably a light blue and possible even a dark silver. Pretty girl!

ETA I though she was younger, but just realized you said 1 year. I'd say blue for sure. Silvers lighten a lot faster than that.

The first photo is my silver girl at about a year old. The second is a blue girl at about a year old, for comparison.

My groomer said all the parti poos she groomed have been hyper. She said they should be party instead of parti. Anyone else ever get this feed back?

If an 8 week old black poodle had its faced shaved and the face looks grey does this mean the poodle will turn grey?? My new puppies siblings got their faces shaved and they are all very light under all that fur! Just wondering if my baby will end up grey?? Hmmm

that will depend on lines-a lot of times if groomers geta fair number of 'a dog' in their shop it'soften from a local breeder-

When i was grooming the few parti's i had were pretty laid back-moreso then bella (who i'd say is on the higher energy end)

bah my pictures on page 2 have disappeared so here they are again
Bella is a black- but she's got some white through her coat- i consider her a 'badblack' not a blue

Problem with phantoms- if they got cream points you can't see white hairs for blue/silvers at birth

I've bred her to a blue/cream so will be fun to see what we get.

Was able to get some outside photos after their groom. Louisa is the Black Abstract & Echo is my phantom.

wow!!! your phantom poodle is GORGEOUS! the most beautiful phantom i have ever seen :-)

Jovi is actually very extremely easy to groom. He is very patient, and lets you do anything to him. I have a friend who is a groomer and she taught me how to groom him. She was very pleased with his behavior the first time we were there. She said "I wish they were all this easy." I don't know if I got lucky, but I am not complaining!
