Aww, thank you kindly! Full credit for that goes to his amazing breeder, Cabryn (New Jersey). Chagall's glorious silver hair has inspired me to let my own natural silver locks fly...I'm working on giving up the hair dye, really, I am!!
Our old beloved Thinker, Bibelot Cherod Tinsmith. Sadly we lost him this year to bloat. He was my Mom's heart dog for nine and a half years, then spent three and a half years with us after my Mom died. Thirteen incredible years loving and being loved every single second! He is sorely missed.
They're all truly beautiful, but Chagall's color is extraordinary! I don't think my Joey will be anywhere near that light.....but.......I love him so much that it doesn't really matter to me what his color ends up being.
Thanks for admiring Chagall's color. But just you wait and see how Joey clears--it's so exciting!! That's really the thrill of it, the big, wonderful transformation that happens right before your very eyes! I know you must love Joey to pieces, and I know you'll love his final color, too.
Rowan: When you become the same silver as Chagall, then you will need to purchase matching sweaters and go for a walk and then people will think you have really turned into that crazy poodle lady!
As the older woman with silver streaks in her hair I love the very idea of being confused with Rowan, the way hotter, younger blonde chick! teehee!:highfive2: (But I knew who you meant all along.)
Rowan AND Chagall's Mom: It is funny how various PF members come to life based on the posts, etc., and you both seem to post often on my pics of Sunny, questions, etc., so it was easy to get the "virtual member" confused. Thanks for understanding!
For my part, there's no one I'd rather be confused with! And besides, Rowan and I are "related" through our poodles; her silver boy Merlin is my Chagall's uncle!! So, it's all in the family after all!
All of the adult silvers here are so beautifully elegant! And Joey is too cute. He has a perfect face and expression! And baby Merlin....awwwww precious
Here are a few recent pictures of Merlin, who is staring at a piece of chicken I have in my hand next to the camera. His ears are finally starting to grow!
Please excuse the messy topknot banding. I didn't have time to fix it before taking the pics. (Or I should say I was too lazy and impatient.)
Merlin has THE SWEETEST expression, even if it is largely "chicken worship"! :laugh:And what glorious ears he has! (Talk about being "lazy and impatient," I was too much of both last night when I first saw Merlin's new photos to post how very wonderful it is to see Chagall's "Uncle Merlin" blossoming in your care. The luckiest day of that sweet silver boy's life was the day you entered it!)
Thank you!
Chagall's sire is CH Cabryn Lone Ranger. Merlin's sire is CH Cabryn Hi Ho Silver, who is Lone Ranger's sire. So we decided they were cousins or something.
Merlin has the most innocent and trusting look about him! I can't tell you how many times a day I kiss an adorable muzzle that looks very much like his!
Oh, he is beautiful! I see what you mean, something in the eyes is similar to Sunny. I have a couple of pics I am going to post from today in the cream thread....
Even though she's pretty young, I thought it might be nice to add Fleur to the silver poodle thread!
Here is a new picture, I'm 99% sure Fleur is the one in the top-left hand side of the picture, but you can just start to see the white hairs on her brother's little feet.
I've loved looking at all of the gorgeous poodles in this thread so far, so many different shades of silver, I can't wait to see how Fleur clears up!
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
