The long hair may be gone, but T still wears pee pants each and every time he goes out! And it's not because I'm concerned about staining or scratching, but because the smell of intact male urine coating a leg is horrific! I'm allergic to it too...

And think, just yesterday it seemed you were so worried that the groomer had accidently trimmed his topknot! Cant wait to see your boy all "gussied up" be it for a show or as a featured pet in your life!

Thanks. Some standards have more hair than he does at his age. He was slow to get it growing for some reason, but seems to be making up for lost time now. And, yes, I want to see him gussied up, too! Even if he ends up a 'featured pet'. He is a beautiful, sweet dog and nothing can change that! I feel so lucky to have him. Lots of things happen on Jan 29th. He gets his trim and he also gets evaluated by London's breeder and his sires owner that day. I can't wait.
There is a huge AKC show not too far from me all weekend. I am thinking of sneeking him in just for the experience of being there, but he is such a fluffy ball of hair I hesitate. Poodle show people, you know.

He looks beautiful! To answer your question about the peeing - nope, male poodles cannot stop peeing on their leg! It gets worse as the hair grows cause there's more of it to get in their aim.

Yep, when you have allergies to dogs, urine, saliva, and dander are the possible triggers. I don't react much to poodle dander or saliva, but urine, WOW!
Back on topic now, sorry!

33 weeks (almost), 7 months and about 24.5 inches tall measured today. I am really busy the next several days and was off today. We played with dogs. We have been doing our homework having strangers give treats. Today he allowed strangers (two) to pet him!! YAY! They were both dog friendly females, but still. He also took treats from my daughters very tall, weight lifting boyfriend. That was quite a feat for him. Tomorrow we have another conformation class. I am looking forward to reporting our progress. I still can't believe he let a stranger pet him and he even wagged his tail! Maybe he is growing up?
Just hangin' around waiting for dinner:
Pay no attention to the lack of any hair shape. I try not to overbrush him. His hair shrinks up and curls, but you can get an idea of how much of a toy hound/toy thief/toy monger he is - It's mine, mine, mine! Must keep track of them all!
toys, toys, toys.

Adorable video!
But that neck hair protector needs to be OFF his neck. Nothing on the neck unless he has a leash attached and is walking on it.
