On a sleepless night I just enjoyed reading through your entire thread week by week. There has to be a way you can make a "coffee table" or scrapbook out of printing these up?!? Next week will be bitter sweet
Thanks for persevering!

Thank you, everyone who has enjoyed the thread. This upcoming last one is already making me a little melancholy, too. That I can tell, only a small handful of "52 Weeks" threads have made it to completion, and I think it would be nice if they could be linked to in a sticky. Sugarfoot's first year has been tumultuous, and his poems are almost like a story of the adventure.

Week Fifty-two
Age: almost 14 months
You have been revealed,
charted in pictures and words.
Both of us have grown.
Much lies ahead for us, but...
This leg of our journey is done.
Thank you to all who enjoyed this thread. This is my 1000th post here; a poetic place to end, is it not? Please feel free to follow me on Instagram (same username as here) if you would like to continue to experience the Saga of Sugarfoot. And it IS an experience to savor, you know.
Good fortune to all as you journey forth with your own poodles and other pets!

I'm going to miss my weekly dose of Sugar! You're thread is one to be remembered. It's difficult to complete a 52 weeks thread, and you have done it beautifully. I hope you will continue to post photos of your boy in the pictures forum.

He is a wonderful boy, and you are a devoted and dedicated Mom! What about a "52 MORE weeks" thread for your boy?

Oh, noooooooo.......
Where am I going to get my dose of poodle haiku's now?
Sugarfoot has brightened my week with every post. :(
Please keep posting him. I am interested in his agility progress and watching his spots deepen even more.
I agree- it would be cool to have a sticky of completed 52 weeks threads. I haven't seen too many either and it is so fun to watch a puppy grow up.
sniff.

I love many Sugarfoot pics, especially the one of him leaping in the water stream from the hose, the first pic of this thread where he is so young, and the funny one you did where his collar is reflecting and you said he's receiving a message.
I bet you've answered this many times, but how did Sugarfoot get his name? (I just found out there was a singer named Leroy “Sugarfoot” Bonner, so that made me think to ask.)
