I like Nova's new look!!! I think you will probably enjoy it, too!!! Lacey and I have certain days that we take the "dirty walks"! We get off the beaten path and get in all the dirt we want!!! We have our clean days and our dirty days!!! Thanks for sharing the pics of Nova. She's a pretty girl!!!

So I've totally missed like a month and a half. A lot has happened since the last update, hence my prolonged absence. I'll try to catch everyone up.
1st Picture Week of 2/12: Juniper and Nova cuddling at the end of a long day
2nd Picture Week of 2/19: It was a nice, warm day so we had all the pups out playing ball. I've been working on Nova's ball drive, and she will actually participate in the chase now! Still not very good at bringing it back though.
3rd Picture Week of 2/26: UGA's campus is so pretty this time of year. We had a group class on campus, and since Nova likes to show off her "place" command, I had her place on this lovely bench.
4th Picture Week of 3/4: Part of the reason I have been totally absent is because there have been some major changes going on with my work. I worked for a dog training franchise, and the franchise owner (my boss) moved out of state. Instead of taking over her franchise, I decided to start my own training company and that has been taking up a huge amount of my time. I spent most of February preparing for the Athens Home and Garden Show to get my name out there and bring in new clients. This photo is from one night after the show of Nova and Juniper "placing" at a table in the Classic Center.
5th Picture Week of 3/11: Nova passed her CGC! We didn't really prepare a whole lot. My roommate works at a kennel and they were hosting the event, but I didn't find out about it until about a week beforehand. She aced it, though! So proud of this girl.
6th Picture Week of 3/18: This isn't a picture of Nova, but I wasn't with her at all this week and something super awesome happened in my life. I spent this week in NY visiting the guide dog training school that I volunteer for and attending a training seminar. The seminar was eye-opening and amazing. There are no words for what these dogs are able to do. I got to work dogs in blindfold, and the experience of giving a dog complete control is unlike anything else in the world. I also got to visit with Sonya, the last pup I raised. This girl was my whole heart and the dog who made me fall in love with the breed. I have missed her every day since she left, but it did me so much good to get to see her and I am so proud of what she is doing.
7th Picture Week of 3/25: Nova and I started an agility class! We spend so much time together, but most of it is "working," Either doing demos or Nova acting as a distraction to my clients dogs. I wanted to do something fun that Nova and I could both relax and enjoy and that hopefully would build her drive a little. I've wanted to do agility for a while, so we finally signed up for an intro class. Nova rocked at her first class.
8th Picture Week of 4/1: Our local Humane Society put on a "fun" dog show event today to raise money and collect donations of dog food. Nova and I (along with Juniper and my apprentice) attended and Nova competed in the "Best Groom" competition and won first place!

Great "catch-up," and what a lot of excitement going on for you and Nova. Nice to see Sonya again and see that she is going to change someone's life. Love Nova's freckles and big smile!

We have been keeping very busy! Nova is tall, but I am also incredibly short so it's probably a bit deceptive I'm only 5'3 so she looks like a giant compared to me!

Racket is doing good! She got her last puppy vaccines a couple weeks ago and I took her to my dads house last weekend. She will live with him from here on out and start training to hunt soon.
