This is Vinnie's first real snow - we had a little flurry about a month ago, but nothing stuck. I let him out this morning and he hit the brakes... his world had totally changed to white (with some grass poking through). Robin went flying by him to potty and Vinnie was off like a shot after him and didn't look back. So, this afternoon when there was light, I got out Vinnie's Orbee ball (one of his favorities! It takes a REAL MAN to play with a PINK ball!!) and we did a little snow shooting. It's so funny - I feed raw and Vinnie does not like his food super cold - the other kids will eat it if it's still a bit frozen, but Vinnie likes his to "rest" a bit. LOL Well, I don't think he liked the snow in his mouth too much either. We are supposed to be getting one heck of a blizzard over the next two days, so he'd better get used to it QUICK!!
Love the snow pics of Vinnie , My Rojo loves the snow! He is the King of the snow HA HA
It snowed here yesterday but did not stick then it poured down rain last night and the wind blew like crazy .. I hope the horses stayed in their barn.... Otherwise they were wet and cold.. Still trying to figure out how to ge them in the house:smow:
We got a bit more snow last night - can't see the grass now. They are warning us all not to travel after dark (yeah right... this is IOWA!!). Vinnie stayed out for about 20 minutes this morning while I cleaned off the van and the driveway. He's drying off in an ex-pen right now.
