Hello from Luke, Ellie and Kai
Have been gone for so long, couldn't remember how to post!
I see many new members here, that's wonderful. Not sure how many of the people I remember are still on.
Anyway, thought I'd pop in and say hello. Life has been speeding ahead at way to fast pace for me this year, and my face and body show it. Ick.
But, the back to back weddings of our son and daughter were wonderful, and the birth of our daughters twins in NY was amazing. I spent a month and a half with my daughter and son in law and the boys, what a blessing.
The dogs somehow survived with a neighbor boy (who is home schooled) caring for the dogs during the day, husband at night and weekends, and the kids filling in if needed. It wasn't perfect, not at all, but I just had to let go and do what I had to do and hope everyone would do their best to care for the dogs.
I know I can't be the only one who freaks out when you have to leave and the dog/dogs care is out of your hands! Its awful.
I don't think my husband will ever let me have more than one dog again in my life again. He was not a happy camper!!!
Here are a couple pics of the dogs, they are frumpy because of the snow and rain we had at the cabin. I don't have the time to keep them looking nice anymore.
Thinking about moving, so must get rid of lots of stuff!
Dogs are fine, I love them so....

I'm just starting to grow Kai's coat out after being shaved down from summer through December. Had to basically shave all the dogs very short before I left for NY, no one grooms/brushes them except me.
I am missing a fluffy Kai now though, so will grow him longer until summer.

Why I was gone for a month and a half. What a joy.
My first grandchildren, twin boys Gus and Tell.

Hope to pop in here and there to catch up on all that is new.

Yes you are right, and my husband reminds me all the time, that people are more important.
Seriously though, its only going to get harder now as more babies and life changes happen. I can see how my having 3 dogs will be a thing of the past. Makes me sad, but a person only has so much time, and its so hard to travel with 3 dogs.
Life is changing.

We have twin granddaughters who are almost 15. Some of my fondest memories are of helping my daughter and son-in-law when the girls were born. It was, and is, wonderful--they were the cutest, pinkest, little things, and even as teenagers, they're really nice kids. Congratulations!
