Here are a few photos of the little boy we will be adopting once he is 8 weeks old. We decided to go ahead and do it. How could we not after meeting the precious guy? His mom is a doll and, although she in desperate need of a groom, is a pretty girl. They are in a concrete kennel so we brought them both a big blanket to add to their bed. They are hoping that they will both get to go home with the director for a better atmosphere till the little guy is 8 weeks old, but apparently it's complicated. He is a bit shy but is still such a young baby. He has blueish eyes but assume all pups do till a certain age? He has a bit of white on his chest and white toes on both back feet. I wonder if he'll fade. Whatever colour he turns out will be beautiful. Now I need to go shopping.

Ooh how exciting for you and your family! I know nothing about eye color and such but I'm really happy you found your puppy as quickly as you have - the timing is great! He's adorable... Have you started thinking of names yet? Have you already filled out an application for him? Obviously he will need a good "V" name... Lol!!! So happy for you both! Congratulations!!!!

I filled out all the paperwork already and even paid the adoption fee, lol. So much for my indecision. I have been thinking of names already. Victory was suggested to me which is nice, I also love Valiant as well as a few non V names. Sherlock isn't a v name so maybe I can get away with straying. We'll see. I also like Pharoah, pudding and Nikola, as in Nikola Tesla. I think it's going to be a long time before we decide. I can't believe all this has happened so quickly!

When it feels right you have to go with your gut. You saw how fast my whole "Portia" process went... Lol I'm not really one to preach about that! I've got a v name... "Valentine" or "Valentino" which is around the time you will get him...

I would love that... but my youngest son' s middle name is Valentino. I still might go for Valentine if he doesn't think it's creepy or anything. Would it be too odd since it's so similar?

Ahh. He's cute. Van is a nice name for a guy. I hope you can visit him again! His eyes look very blue in the pictures. If they really are that blue they may stay that way. Puppy blue is a milky darker blue, but it could be the pictures. Can't wait to find out!

What a gorgeous little boy! Has he got a name yet? I would call him Shamwari which means friend! Pronounced Sham-wa-ri. Look forward to seeing him grow.
