Default Our newest member of the family!
We have a new member and it's been a joyous week! His name is Reggie and we just picked him up on Monday. He is five months old and a dream of a guy. He is a Silver Beige from a Blue Mamma and a Silver Papa. But his beauty is just secondary to his gentle and sweet hearted personality.

Thanks everyone for your support and lovely comments! It's been a rough two months and I miss my Charley poodle like crazy and I always will...Reggie has put a big lovely band-aid on my broken heart. He is so loving and funny. He's almost five and half months old and we are all in love with him. He came from up north in California so he probably never hear rain before, just snow. So last night during his pee break at 3:00am, I had to stand out in the rain with him because he was scared of all the rain noises here in Southern CA!!! I had an umbrella and he had that great puppy"fur" that the rain rolled right off when we went back in. So many new sights and sounds for this sweetness! But I cannot believe how well he is adapting. Next trauma in a few weeks will be his neutering...oy. Not thrilled with it, just like I was not thrilled with doing it to my little Shih girl or Charley....I guess I'm just a nervous Nelly.... I will try to post more pics but the server here is not letting me today.

It sounds like he is settling right in. May I ask why he is being neutered so young? When I was looking for a puppy, what I was told and what I have read on this forum is that it is recommended a puppy be older, at least 10 months. It's your decision of course, I was just wondering why so early. Congratulations again on your new family member.
