Tonka and I are looking after Mika - a four month old female... Poodle, of course! Her owners are in Fla. 'til Saturday.

She's everything that Tonka isn't . . bubbly, friendly, wiggly and generally just plain busy! lol Walks??? She's way better off-leash than on. Sticks right with us on our walks. Great puppy! Zooms past the old guy *who's on a retractable* and eventually gets him romping. Good puppy!

I was gettin' a little concerned last nite when she hadn't peed for abt ten hours. But went to bed knowing I've got mostly concrete floors down here. This morning *in -27C* I let her out, stood in the doorway, and watched as she walked four feet away, peed and came right back in!

Perfect puppy!!

Oh ya... the old guy's nose is a bit out of joint. But he's stoic abt it. Mika's taken over his bed near my computer chair. And she slept beside my bed for the last two nites. The two adult males that he's lived here with got no such latitude! lol

Oh well, our cute little indulged girl will be gone after two more sleeps. Then he'll likely miss her.
