Default Spoo puppy wants a bath...

So we got Portia in early December - she's now 4.5 months old and the love of our lives!! She is a sassy and energetic girl who loves to entertain and test her limits.... She is a real gem though, a quick learner and a real lovebug!!! The other night, I decided to go take a bath - I am used to my little dogs and didn't really consider the fact that Portia would be able to stand up beside the tub... Anyways, I had left the door open... Here are the resulting pictures...

Oooh, Mom, that bath looks reaaaaalllllll nice!

Oh mannnn - look at those bubbles!!!

Can I get in pretty please????

Look - I'll just put my paw in slowly.... ooooh nice and warm...

FYI she was NOT allowed into the tub and got kicked out of the bathroom... lol!!!

She's due for another grooming next week so pardon the scruffy dog look... I brush her every night but her puppy coat quickly manages to look scruffy again...

omg, what wonderful pictures! She is so cute. She doesn't look scruffy, she looks like a well loved poodle puppy! When my Jazz was younger I swear I'd brush him and thirty minutes later he looked just like her. I bet she is going to have a great adult coat because she is curly as a puppy. I can't get over what a cute face she has!

She is such a beauty (and honesty the reason why we decided on a spoo when considering a big dog).

Thanks everyone! She's a real handful ATM but so wonderful in so many ways! I love her personality, spunk and funny expressions. I love taking pictures of her - she's so entertaining!

Vixen did u mean her personally or spoos in general?

The breed. Seeing her pretty face with her personality shining through in posts etc made me determine to pick a spoo as our large dog of choice. Granted we need a non shedding dog so there aren't too many options, but still, seeing your Portia made the choice pretty darn easy.

Love!!!! Are you having any success in your research yet? You said you wanted an older dog, as I recall, right? Are you still at the research stage or are you actively searching for the perfect one?

I've decided not to restrict it to an older dog as maybe starting with a pup we can teach it to play gently, however, how many spoo pups come into rescue? I guess I'm still leaning toward an older god though. I have given my name and # to all the local animal controls and humane societies so they can let me know if a spoo comes in, but of course, it would still have to be the right fit etc. We'll see what happens, they aren't exactly common here.
