Frequent Flyer Pierre
Frequent flyer Pierre went back to the Midwest for the holidays. He loves the suburbs, especially the sunspots he can't find in NYC. He also decided he's more of a chest poodle than a lap poodle. Here are some of the pictures we took of him while in the Midwest.
We just did the math; Pierre flies approximately 4800 miles a year--and since he's a toy, all we have to do is put him under the seat. He flies like a pro with no complaining at all.

I bet you get a lot of interesting comments and curious looks. I was once seated on a flight next to a guy who turned out to be a breeder flying home with a beautiful shiba inu puppy in a bag similar to Pierre's. Turns out he wasn't willing to let the pup fly cross country alone in baggage, which to me is a recommendation right there. Pup cried a couple of times, and he let it pop its head out of the bag, drawing ahs and coos from all around.

Its strange but most people ask what kind of dog he is because of his long legs and lack of yapping.

My goodness I didnt know dogs were allowed up with the passengers. Is it only for little dogs? Dexter is a big spoo. It would be nice if we could buy a seat by us for Dex.

Carry on
Dogs are allowed to fly in the cabin if they can fit under the seat in a carrier. Airlines do charge for the privilege however. I was once charged extra for Pierre by a car service on the way to the airport!

Loved the picks. Your going to have to get Pierre, his very own, frequent flyer card. Years ago, use to fly out of DIA, to Dallas, to longview,Texas, with my yorkie, Yancy, (American Air lines) gave him one. They were very good with him, he was all ways in the cabin with me. Delta Air Lines was not at all nice, If we had to fly with them, had to fly 1st class, in his on seat, or go in the baggage dept.He did like the food 1st class gave him.LOL.

What a cutie! How fun it must be for you to be able to take Pierre everywhere. He is a well traveled little guy, I'm sure he is wise beyond his years with as much exposure as he has had to different people and places.
