Well, the owner of Murphy decided she was not ready to give him up and changed her mind. I suppose it was for the best though! Had that not happened I would not have met Lucy. She is a 7 pound toy poodle and is absolutely WONDERFUL!!! I am so pleased with her already. She is very calm and sleeps a lot. Doesn't bark and does great on the leash already, although she used to walk with her previous owner without one. Saw a dog today and she acted like he wasn't even there. She is awesome. She hasn't eaten or drank yet but that's to be expected on the first day. I'm trying so hard not to give her tons and tons of affection since it's only her first day and I don't want her to become anxious when I leave but it's so hard when she is so cuddly and lovable
I have tons of training planned out for her, this will be my first time doing clicker training and I am excited!!

I absolutely love her. Will take more pics soon!!

I would check on the dishes that she is being offered if the not eating and drinking keeps up. Yes, one day is normal, but my Angel dislikes anything that is metal or plastic to eat from and will refuse to eat from them even if it is something she really likes! lol I have figured out that it is because she has such a sense of smell and therefore a great sense of taste and they taste and smell wrong to her.

Thank you! And I had no idea about that, I'll have to check what previous type of bowl she had. And yes, I can already tell she is super smart. Such fun and happy little dogs.
