Ok so I know the Lily pictures are bad (black dog problems), but it was really fun to have my mom's mpoo Wolfie around while we put up the tree yesterday. Peeves is getting used to the little guy, but was still a bit too excited to be in the group photos.

Finally got back to getting this picture up. Here are Lily and Wolfie. I had to lower the resolution so Lily looks terrible and Wolfie is a little blurry, but it is nice to see them hanging out together. This was the day we decorated our Christmas tree.

So nice to finally meet Wolfie! What a face on that little mpoo--really precious. And good for lovely, elegant Lily for accepting the new addition to the family. (I'm sure Peeves is working on it, calmness can be a hard state to attain at times.) Has your mother settled into a good routine with Wolfie? Puppies are A LOT of work, worth it, but demanding with a capital "D." I'd be putty in the paws of a mpoo pup like Wolfie. Glad you posted the photo--hope it's the start of many more to come.

His name is really Wolfgang Amadeus in recognition of my moms' love of music. He is a really nice looking little guy isn't he? He adores my mom to no end, so even though there are moments where she finds some of the puppy issues very vexing she works through it well. He turned 4 months old on December 19th and is very solid with housebreaking (thank you Ian Dunbar). He is still young enough that he just wants to please mom, so he has a nice sit and down and a really great recall. She is going to take a beginner obedience class starting in later January, so that should help her get through the bratty teenage days.

Every visit with Peeves is easier than the one before. I don't think Peeves sees him as a prey item, but he really wants to play with Wolfie and the size difference is just too big to allow it at all right now. Even when Wolfie is full grown they will have to be carefully supervised. Lily is very nice to him both at our house and at mom's. She found him pretty annoying at the beginning, but now they are doing great together. This puppy experience is sort of giving me a preview of how to manage bringing a new spoo to our house.

Sounds like your mother and Wolfie are making beautiful music together, and that little mpoo is adding a lot to all your lives. I can appreciate Lily needing to adjust to the new pup. It's amusing and interesting to watch how that goes. When Chagall seems put out by the antics of the puppies he's around, I tell him, "You used to be the same kind of busy pest not that long ago!"
