How Much Do Your Dogs Love Christmas Trees?
We brought home our tree yesterday and Pierre has been all over it ever since: sniffing it, eating a pine needle and then trying to spit it out, drinking the water, you name it. Do your poodles do that? Or is it just Pierre?

My tree has been up about a week. The kitten likes to hide in it and the spoo chases her around it like he is a horse in a rodeo! I am afraid to decorate if for fear of him biting at ornaments or the lights. I might have to get a gate too.

So clever outwest! I think I may steal that idea! This will be Darcy's first Christmas and so far so good. We've had the tree up for a week and nothing has been destroyed. He keeps nudging the tree with his chin though. I think his intent is to nudge hard enough that an ornament will fall off and then once it hits the floor, its fair game. Little does he know that all of the ornaments on the bottom of the tree are all non-breakable, ugly, reject-pile ornaments. lol

This is Walter's first Christmas, and he can be rambunctious, especially when playing with the cats. We were concerned about the tree, but despite the fact that it is right next to his crate, he acts like he hasn't noticed it, and it's been up a week. It's funny because, he doesn't miss a trick normally. For some reason, he has chosen to ignore the tree.

Lexi has been sniffing the tree and all the decorations, but so far has left everything alone. She was very curious as I was putting things out and had to be in the middle of everything.
