I loved these photos of your dear Bob and the youngsters playing in the snow. MY favorite is of Bob playing outside while Cammie and Sam are watching together from the doorway!

Lovely photos, and Bob is outstanding for his age, does not look 16.5. I had a toy Tina live to be 19.5. They are such wonderful creatures.

Bob is one handsome dude & I can understand your fondness for his cranky, bossy self! What a charmer. I remember when he turned 15 and you posted "15 things I love about my boy Bob" (or something along those lines). It was delightful. I hope at Bob's age Paddy is still as charming as Bob!

Paddy doesn't mind the snow at all. Even when we clear the walkway for him, he often prefers the lawn. He usually sports both his sweater and his fleece for snow play.

Hugs to you both.

Isn't it wonderful how much the Spoos enjoy the snow? I wish I had 1/100th of their enthusiasm! Bob is quite a gift. He is amazing for his age!

Bob is delightful, I will refer to him as an elder statesman, I call all senior beasts that. Oh you will treasure these moments captured by film ( yeah I'm old) I am doing the same with my 15 1/2 yr old Flower, of course there will be no photos in the snow for her, she doesn't enjoy going out in the cold but rather loves to cuddle up on a warm couch.

Go Bob eat that marvelous snow.

Thanks for all the nice comments. Bob does look pretty good in those photos, and I love to see him standing there eating snow. But the truth is that his hips are really failing him. Just about every time he stands up, it is because I am standing behind him helping him get his hips up from the ground. Once up, he walks like a drunken sailor. But at least he walks. I worry every day about what happens when he can no longer walk well enough to go outside and do his business. Sigh.

Awww. Thanks for mentioning that. I looked up the thread and it took me down memory's lane. They say that telling stories is a way of grieving, and I think I am already grieving for Bob. I look at his pictures again and again, and love thinking about all the adventures we have had together. Here's the 15 things thread for anyone who wants to read about Bob.
Happy Birthday Bob! 15 years old on August 12, 2015!

I'm still enjoying this boy. So grateful that he has no doggie dementia.

I looked up the 15 things thread - what a joy to read and what a joy Bob has been and how lucky he was to have found a home and family with you.
