Default Sleepy poodle

When me and my wife adopted our spoo we decided on him sleeping in the kitchen, but after a while we decided that he could sleep anywhere in the house he wanted.

After a couple of days he was allowed to sleep in our bed room, and a week later...

Does you poodles insist on sleeping in your beds? There are draw-backs to it, the "sleep walking" and "sleep wimpering" awakens my whife sometimes(light sleeper), and an occasional poodle-nose inprint in the forehead when you go to work in the morning. Also sudden breathing problems can occur in the middle of the night, waking you up to discover that there is a poodle on you.

Our spoo isn't big enough to hop on the bed yet, but I am sure he will be! He slept on our bed the first couple nights. Now he goes in his exercise pen and digs at his pillows to get comfy! Lol he does the sleep whimpering thing too!

I have a mpoo and she's a bed hog! Will not move and I have to maneuver around her. I can't imagine sharing a bed with a spoo!

Default Poodles are Enduring

Thank you for your photo!

It is amazing how enduring Poodles are! They work and weave their lives into our lives and pretty soon---we are inseparable.

Love the picture! Try 2 toy poodles in a queen size bed! I am literally kicked off the bed by my 2 girls! And then try and move them - heavy like a concrete block! Thank goodness I am single!

Ditto! And mine is only a mini! Haven't figured out who she is chasing in her dreams yet though!

Funny how so many new poodle parents start out saying things like "We decided he would not sleep on our bed, only in the ________," then end up with the poodle(s) sprawled on the bed. We actually love having Beau come up his little stairs for a bedtime cuddle. But he's a grumpy sleeper, and if either my wife or I have the nerve to move a muscle and jostle his Majesty, he soon climbs down to curl up in his own comfy bed on the floor of our room. Raising two wonderful daughters and one modestly spoiled mini poo has taught me never say never!

I love a white bed, white everything... I have had my white bed for years. I now have a dark brown blanket on the very top... guess why!

LOL..I have white down comforter and sheets..I always have preferred those..My dogs sleep on the bed..always Stella, sometimes Madonna..I like the white sheets and white dogs cause you can see right away if they are dirty!! Then you can wash them :-) We do have a pink down blanket that we have on the lower 1/3 of our bed where Stella sleeps..but they are both very clean..we keep their feet washed..I am a bit of a clean freak I guess.
