One thing that surprised me when we got our spoo, he doesnt seem to like to get him self dirty! He doesnt like to walk in mud or pools of water, he always goes around anything thats dirty when we are out walking.
Is this a poodle trait?

Both my spoos sleep in the bed with my husband and I... Sometimes I wake up Bc I can't move my legs (some spoo laying on them lol) or I open an eye and a spoo eye is looking back at me lol... I love it though... Wouldn't have it any other way ;-) spoo's love their people!

ar22dp, wow, you're lucky, my toys look for mud puddles to dive into. lol
Bug digs a comfy spot in my bed - even if that means digging on me or burrowing under the blanket or pillow. He loves to play and wrestle in bed, too. I wouldn't have it any other way, either. And yes, I have a white blanket and black dogs and live on an acre and have livestock, etc. It's nice to kow when to wash the bed because the white is no longer white, and I can bleach it with no worries.

Mine love mud puddles and water too lol
Of course it isn't noticeable on Lola so Rusty gets the blame lol he's the ring leader anyway ;-)

Ollie doesn't walk through mud or puddles either if he can help it! I walk him with a few other dogs that adore water, they will all be playing chase, but as soon as they go jumping through puddles Ollie comes back to walk with me!
He also sleeps on the bed most of the time! Luckily he doesn't sleep run or whine... though he does sometimes snore!

First the ban of dogs on furniture went, it didn't seem right with a toy. Now Swizzle is sleeping on the bed with us. I rarely get a pillow anymore. He is so cute I hate to disturb him!

Lol. This is so true and so funny, I can't stop laughing. DH and I swore that we're not going to be one of the people who sleeps with their dog. Now not only that he sleeps with us, sometime on us and he snores. So glad that Charlie is a 12-lbs toymix poodle and not a standard poodle. He likes to put his neck on my neck. Lol.

Well, my mother lives with me. Since she cares for the poodles during the day if I am at work, she steals the poodles at nighttime. They both sleep in her room now. She wanted Jazz in her room. Then she felt that Jazz would like to have Bonnie there. Somehow, she is hogging the poodles at night now. LOL. Since she isn't very mobile, the poodles add a lot to her life and they love having a stay at home mom. She says they make her feel safe when she is home alone. She likes being surrounded by poodles. But, my bed is Bonnie's favorite day time cybersurfing spot.

Outwest, thats awesome that your poodles keeps your mother company. I know how it feels to be home alone as DH travels a lot for business and we don't have babies yet. Charlie is truly godsend in a fur package.
