We went to a doggie B & B, called the Paw House in West Rutland. They don't just tolerate dogs, they encourage them. They have a kennel where you can leave the dog for a few hours or the day and they will walk them, feed them and exercise and play with them in their large doggie fenced in back yard. They do not want the dogs left in crates. There is a doggie bed in each room. Here are some pictures of our Vermont stay. Jazz had a GREAT time.
There was a Paw House in West Dover a few years ago, but then they sold their place and someone else bought the Inn. I wonder if these are the same people. Their facility was amazing. I and another photographer did an event there for Christmas to raise funds for the local shelter. We photographed people's dogs with Santa Clause. It turned out really well.
They had an outside building with dog runs and a large room for exercising. I was really impressed with the whole facility!
What a really great vacation! I love everyone eating a meal with their dogs...a really great idea!
